This is a song we wrote about the pain caused being stuck in an abusive relationship. You don't have to stay feeling alone and you can stand up on your own two feet. For those of us with friends who don't know how to do that, we who can stand on our own to feet can help our friends in need. This song goes to the people just like you.d

Just because you don't look back

we only have ourselves to blame 
for our failures.

She wears her guilty crown so well,
adorned with lies she cannot keep .
She harbors secrets she cannot tell
now bearing gold where she once bore grief.

She's trying not to feel this world 
when everything is tearing her down .
She's trying with all her heart 
when all her torment 
is more than she can take.
